Permanent Role
At E.ON UK, we're driving the energy transition to make energy affordable and sustainable for all. As we evolve, so does how we reward, recognise, and support our people.
We seek an experienced Reward & Benefits Specialist to join our high-performing Reward team. This role suits a detail-oriented, tenacious individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact by shaping our reward experience during business transformation.
Reporting to the Reward & Performance Lead Consultant and collaborating with Colleague Services, you will own E.ON UK's benefits offering-managing, enhancing, and delivering our employee benefits portfolio. You'll ensure it supports our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), attracts and retains talent, and delivers an engaging colleague experience, while contributing to the broader reward agenda.
You should have proven experience influencing stakeholders, managing projects, and delivering reward initiatives-especially in benefits management, implementation, and engagement. Candidates with backgrounds in employee benefits, reward advisory, communications, marketing, or contract management are welcome.
What we need from you
- Serve as a benefits expert, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance E.ON's reward offering and EVP.
- Manage the employee benefits portfolio, supplier relationships, contracts, and performance, partnering with Payroll, Communications, Pensions, Procurement, People Partners, and suppliers.
- Handle complex queries and ensure benefits remain competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with colleague and business needs.
- Lead the annual benefits enrolment cycle, including negotiations, renewals, system readiness, communications, and stakeholder coordination.
- Drive year-round benefits engagement through inclusive communications and campaigns, using colleague feedback to improve the reward experience.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and digitalise processes to enhance colleague engagement.
- Manage reward delivery across a diverse colleague population, using multiple HR systems and digital platforms to ensure accessibility and relevance.
- Maintain robust benefits governance, policies, and compliance.
- Analyse benefits data to generate insights that inform improvements and engagement.
- Manage benefit budgets, forecast costs, and resolve supplier invoicing issues.
- Support wider reward activities such as MI, benchmarking, job evaluation, and strategic reward projects including tenders, scheme changes, engagement initiatives, automation, and HR system transformation, as required.
What you need to know:
- Broad benefits/reward management background with relevant qualification (e.g., CIPD) or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing external suppliers and vendor relationships.
- Resilience and agility in ambiguous, changing environments with multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
- Innovative thinking and strong analytical ability, confident with Excel and HRIS systems.
- Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working independently.
