Commis Chef / Food Prep Assistant — Full-Time | City of London

A growing multi-venue hospitality group is opening a new corporate café at a major City of London office — and they need a reliable, skilled food prep hand to join from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working in a professional kitchen environment without the late nights of restaurant work.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing pastries, sandwiches, and cold food items daily
• - Supporting the kitchen team with prep, portioning, and plating
• - Keeping your station clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene standards
• - Helping manage stock and flag low supplies
• - Contributing to a smooth, consistent service every shift

What we're looking for:

• Some kitchen experience — café, canteen, or restaurant background all fine
• - A food hygiene certificate is a bonus (not essential)
• - Reliable, hardworking, and takes care over the details
• - Comfortable with early starts
• - Right to Work in the UK

Pay & hours: £14/hr, full-time
