Reporting to the Field Sales Manager the Territory Sales Manager is a critical role at Reiser, driving new business and being the point of contact for existing customers. Regionally based covering a range of postcodes across the Southern area, regularly travelling to customer sites, overnight staying away may be required at times. Previous sales experience is key, preferably of large machinery or equipment and within a technical industry would be advantageous.
The main responsibilities of the role are set out below.
· Professionally represent our products to new and existing customer continually building the pipeline through cold-calling, networking and maintaining positive relationships; internally and externally.
· Excellent in working as part of the larger Reiser team utilising expertise of appropriate specialist knowledge and skills to convert opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
· Share best sales practices with team.
· Self -starter, naturally pro-active in approach.
· Be actively involved with sales industry associations.
· Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and are received on time.
· Help to facilitate quotations, product samples and deliveries.
· Work closely with field service team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
· Driven to achieve challenging annual sales targets.
· Displays positive attitudes and behaviours at all times
· Is proud to represent our brand and culture, and promotes our Reiser values ensuring the best interests of Reiser are upheld at all times.
· Operates within the legal and regulatory framework.
Necessary Skills Required
- Preferable sales experience of capital equipment (preferably in the food processing and/or packaging industry). We will consider candidates with proven experience in selling equipment or related packaging solutions to the food industry.
- The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and determined individual with a proven and demonstratable track record of success who understands the importance of selling equipment with the added service component and working closely with service team.
- With the ability to work independently, prioritise and multi-task together with being comfortable communicating with people of all different areas of a business from the shop floor to company owners and directors.
- Must reside in the territory, with the ability to travel overnight up to 30% -40% of the time throughout the sales patch.
