This specialist will provide day-to-day support to the QEAF in aspects of the MD Lifecycle from establishing requirements to design, building and testing of EW MD and post flight analysis of MD. This role requires an understanding and working knowledge in the use of a number of toolsets such as the Integrated Generation System (IGS) and Desktop Validation Tool (DVT) to generate DASS (Defensive Aids Sub System) and Attack Compter MD . The EW Advisor is responsible to the QEAF EW Commander for the provision of advice and guidance on the production and maintenance of Typhoon Mission Data (MD) and general EW matters. They are responsible for the planning and co-ordination aspects of Typhoon EW based activities to support QEAF Typhoon Operations, providing integral day-to-day support.
