Job Description Foster Carer; Location: From Home, Reports To: Supervising Social Worker Job Overview:  Foster carers offer children and young people a loving, stable and nurturing home while they cannot live with their own families. Being a foster carer is about caring and advocating for children, being someone that they can trust and talk to, and who will celebrate their achievements with them. As well as providing day-to-day care for children and young people, foster carers will work with other professionals to support their educational, health and social wellbeing. This involves attending meetings and advocating for the children in the care. They will also keep records, manage sometimes challenging behaviour, and develop their own skills through training and experience.  

Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our growing care team. To be considered for this vacancy, you must have a valid full UK driving licence and a car.    Location: Across   Cockermouth   & Surrounding Areas  - A valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this role. Travel expenses covered, mileage paid at 43p per mile.   ***Receive a £300 bonus when you pass probation.***   Hourly rate :  £14.50 per hour, plus earn up to an additional £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours.   Hours: Full time and part time  hours available per week.
