Job Title: Deputy Service Manager - Criminal Justice Sector
Location: Romford, Havering. Please note that this location does not have step free access
Salary: £34,400
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota varying between 08:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours dependent on service and resident requirements including weekends and bank holidays so flexibility will be required. You will also take part in our out of hours on call service for managers.
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP), commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, based in Romford. The service provides accommodation and support for individuals transitioning from custody into the community, helping them address barriers to resettlement, reduce the risk of reoffending, and build positive, independent futures. In this role, you will support the Service Manager in providing leadership and operational oversight of the service, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred support within a safe, structured, and rehabilitative environment. You will have line management responsibility for frontline staff, supporting, coaching, and developing the team to deliver effective interventions that promote rehabilitation, personal responsibility, and successful reintegration into the community.
