Role Description:
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex projects through effective project controls, financial management, reporting and business improvement activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders and the customer, you’ll help ensure projects remain on track, meet contractual requirements and deliver successful outcomes.
Core Duties:
- Support project delivery through project controls, financial management and reporting activities
- Monitor budgets, forecasts and cost performance to support successful project outcomes
- Prepare project reporting, analysis and insights to support decision-making and governance requirements
- Support the management of project risks, issues and improvement initiatives
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules and key deliverables
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met
Essential Skills:
- Experience within a Project Management, Project Controls or PMO environment
- Proven experience managing budgets, forecasting, cost control and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights
- Experience preparing project, performance or customer reports
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work across multiple stakeholders
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Defence experience and/or Project Management qualifications are desirable
- Eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
The Aviation Technical Training Team
At Royal Australian Air Force Base Wagga, BAE Systems delivers aviation technical training to Australian Defence Force (ADF) aircraft technicians. Our high-quality facility at Wagga Wagga in New South Wales provides students with access to aircraft and state of the art simulators.
