Job title: Graduate Air Business Development

Location: Samlesbury/Warton (Lancashire). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role description 

Business Development works collaboratively across teams to assess prospects, develop strategies and enable informed decisions on whether to pursue opportunities. Business Development contributes to sales, marketing and customer engagement activities, while helping to position propositions effectively in competitive markets. The role also supports the creation of high-quality proposals and builds strong relationships with stakeholders and customers. With a focus on insight, innovation and impact, Business Development plays a key role in driving growth, strengthening market presence and ensuring the organisation remains responsive to evolving customer needs.

Core duties 

  • Support the identification, development, and qualification of new business opportunities, progressing them through the Business Winning process to inform pursue/stop decisions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, customer engagement, bid development, events, and exhibitions. 
  • Contribute to regional and country-level business development strategies aligned with organisational objectives. 
  • Work with Competitive Intelligence teams to gather and analyse market insights that strengthen positioning and competitiveness. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders, while ensuring effective communication, governance, reporting, and oversight throughout the business development and bidding lifecycle.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Marketing, Social, Political, International Business, Business & Administration.
