Job Title: Relief Bank - Recovery Worker
Location: Lewisham. This service does not have step free access
Salary: £14.80 per hour plus 12.07% annual leave accrual
Shift Pattern: Flexible working
We're looking for a Relief Bank Recovery Worker to join the team in New Hope, a 24 hour supported accommodation service for adult males with diagnosis of mental health and convictions based in Lewisham. You will support to empower and motivate them to achieve their personal goals and gain greater independence, to support them to reintegrate into the community. Support will be tailored to the individual needs through a recovery model.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
New Hope provides 24 hour supported accommodation for adult males with a diagnosis of mental health and convictions, they require a high level of support and close monitoring to maintain optimum mental health and prevent/reduce reoffending. We support our participants and residents to gain insight into their problems, and to engage with creating new life skills. We support them in developing coping strategies and building supportive relationships.
We're looking for someone who has a genuine passion and felt purpose to help people who may be facing multiple disadvantages, to contribute towards our mission of empowering independence through trauma informed solutions and dynamic partnerships that keep people out of prison, out of hospital and off the streets. We're looking for someone who is a team player and driven to provide high quality, tailored support to our residents, with the ability to build rapport and trust with others. You will be an effective communicator who can build impactful connections with people from all backgrounds, valuing equality, diversity and inclusion. You’ll be compassionate, supportive and empowering, with the ability to form positive and motivating relationships.
