Location: Milton Keynes (Campus based – Bletchley & Chaffron Way)
Hours: Mon-Fri – Up to 37.5 hours/week – Term Time Only (36 weeks per year)
Salary: Permanent roles - Up to approx. £20,000 pro rata (£25,382 FTE)
Ad-hoc/Occasional Hours/Cover - £16.12 per hour - Occasional workers provide cover for staff sickness and would require you to be available at short notice.

As a Teaching Support Assistant within the Learning Support department, you will have an understanding of the additional needs of individuals and be able to support learners in achieving their potential, within their mainstream setting across a wide variety of subject areas.
The Learning Support team are committed to developing our students to achieve their highest potential through their chosen subject, whilst learning invaluable skills to support them in their future. You will work closely with the curriculum staff to ensure the best level of support and guidance for students and maintain effective assistance in the classroom.
Permanent roles are Mon-Fri 37.5 hours a week, 36 weeks a year (Term Time only)
As an Occasional worker, hours are not fixed and can vary, this can be great for supporting flex if you need this around other commitments, family life etc. We do need to align with business requirements and timetables, but would always aim to find a balance that works for both sides.
Ideally, we’d ask for availability during full morning or afternoon sessions and/or full working days—even if that’s not across all five weekdays.
- Afternoon sessions are 13:00-18:00 (Mon-Fri)
- Full days would be between the hours of 08:00-18:00 (Mon-Fri)
