26 – 30 October 2026 – Business Focussed BAE Systems Submarines are pleased to offer this work experience opportunity in our state-of-the-art Submarines Academy for Skills and Knowledge, Barrow-in-Furness. The experience will include an introduction to the business, insight into the Business function, a chance to discuss career paths with existing staff and apprentices, employability workshops and practical activities, along with university talks and a mock interview. Please note: the dates and location shown within the work experience listing will be the exact dates and location of the work experience and cannot be changed. Applications to close approximately 8 weeks before the programme begins. However, they may close earlier if high volumes of applications are received – we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid missing out. Entry Requirements You must have achieved or be on track to achieve by August 2028. Please note entry requirements may be subject to change annually and specific subjects for each role may be required. Further details will be shared during the work experience.
