Role: Senior Lead Generator

Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £30,915 and £38,000 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Senior Lead Generator to join our Employer Partnerships & Business Engagement department at The Bedford College Group.

As a Senior Lead Generator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

  • Lead Generation Strategy & Campaigns - Develop and execute targeted strategies to generate high-quality employer leads for apprenticeships and T Levels, using data insights and multi-channel outreach.
  • High-Value Prospecting & Pipeline Development - Identify and engage senior decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and build a strong pipeline for Account Managers and Work Experience teams.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management - Lead and mentor the Lead Generation Executive, ensuring high activity, quality output, and effective use of CRM and outreach tools.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with Marketing, Account Managers, and wider teams to ensure aligned messaging, seamless handovers, and successful follow-up of opportunities.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Monitor market trends, maintain CRM data integrity, evaluate campaign performance, and produce regular pipeline reports to drive continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Qualifications & Professional Experience - Level 2+ qualification in a relevant field with strong experience in lead generation, business development, and proven success in generating high-quality B2B opportunities.
  • Technical & CRM Expertise - Skilled in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM systems, with experience in reporting, data management, and tracking performance.
  • Communication & Leadership Skills - Excellent communication, networking, and influencing abilities, with experience mentoring or supporting junior staff.
  • Drive & Performance Focus - Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism & Flexibility - Commitment to safeguarding, continuous development, and organisational values, with flexibility to travel, work varied hours, and maintain health & safety standards.
