We're looking for an enthusiastic Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor to work across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, with a focus on portfolios in West Oxfordshire, Thames Valley and Cliveden.
You'll help manage our let estate portfolio day to day while providing technical land management advice. Working within a friendly, skilled team, you'll support the care and development of our extensive land and property holdings across the region.

The management of our tenancies and assets, and the relationships we build with our tenants, are fundamental to our £40m+ annual rental income and the delivery of our conservation work. In this role, you'll build on these foundations, taking on varied and engaging casework that will help shape the future of the UK's largest private landowner.
Based at the Coleshill Estate Office, this role covers West Oxfordshire, Cliveden and Thames Valley. With hybrid working, you'll split your time between home, the office, and site visits, typically spending 40-60% of your week on National Trust sites.

Your work will include areas such as commercial lettings, management of agricultural tenancies and agri-environment schemes on in hand land, woodland creation and management, access and boundary matters, work with restrictive covenants, managing commons and working with commoners, easements and wayleaves and occasional acquisitions and disposals. You'll champion best practice within a structured governance framework, provide clear advice, and build strong relationships with tenants, helping us care for and conserve our land for the future.
