Job Title: Graduate Air Software Engineer

Location: Brough (Hull). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role Description

Creating cutting edge software for our platforms and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from concept, design, and development through to delivery and maintenance in service. Delivering software solutions for highly complex, real-time systems and software platforms and developing safety critical software/mission critical software and ground based software.

Core Duties

  • System requirements evaluation and review, including high-level and low-level software design.
  • Software implementation, including updating existing code, developing new code, and merging updates into new baselines.
  • Software unit and integration testing (white-box testing).
  • Hardware/software qualification testing (black-box testing).
  • Software certification, including documentation, defect investigation, and resolution.

Qualification requirements

You must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a minimum 2:2 bachelor’s degree or a pass at master’s level in the following subjects: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
