JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Being the Senior Officer & Aircrew Training (O&AT) System User.(SME-IFS)
• Act as the focal point for all O&AT IFS Requests for Change (RFCs).
• Submit and manage all O&AT user applications.
• Report & co-ordinate all IFS faults through ISE.
• Establish a relationship with BAESAI UK IFS coordinator.
On an annual basis update BAESAI O&AT instance of IFS with vendor Annual Price Lists.
Extract monthly reports from IFS and identify data deltas between IFS and the IF&P Toolset and update the IF&P toolset/s accordingly.
Extract data at regular intervals to inform Performance Indicators (PIs) as identified by BAESAI management.
Provide regular PI reports as tasked by BAESAI management.
Provide, “at elbow” IFS familiarization training.
Lead the IF&P Team to ensure data quality issues are resolved and implemented into the aligning toolsets.
Lead the IF&P Team to ensure executions, analysis, and investigation of order recommendations are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
Ensure regular data quality reviews are held with relevant stakeholders and recorded.
Ensure UAT is carried out and recorded for any data set change requests prior to implementation.
Ensuring pricing data is reviewed on a monthly basis for accuracy into the model and deltas recorded.
Development Plans, TNA’s and Development Action Trackers are recorded and maintained for direct reporting lines.
Responsible for the management of the Supply Chain Data Analysis function providing data-led guidance to the Supply Chain and wider business.
To provide a focal point for the management of all in-service data requests, liaising with multiple Functions within the business. Ensuring a stringent data management policy is implemented, to provide confidence in data accuracy to senior management and the wider business.
Liaise with all key stakeholders to perform trending and analysis activities in support of tactical and strategic decision making across multiple business functions.
Provide regular performance measures in line with KPI requirements and assist in the investigation of emerging issues.
Assist with the investigation and resolution of data quality issues.
Assist with the assessment of data integrity relating to aircraft components stored on the Supply Chain ERP system.
Assist the Arising Rate Management team with trending and root cause analysis.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
Ideally qualified in a computing discipline, with experience in a fast-paced Data Analysis / Decision Support environment.
Broad experience of SQL, Excel, KPI build and reporting, data analysis tools and techniques.
Working experience in Inventory Forecasting and Planning, Data Analysis, Demand Planning, or related field.
Strong understanding of project management and project control principles.
Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of cross functional datasets, the synergies between them and the business rules that apply to each.
Strong understanding of budgetary constraints & financial control principles.
Preferably from an Aeronautical background, to ensure familiarity of current aviation practices, both military and civil and its data management requirements.
Candidates from a non-aviation background with other relevant experience gained within another industry will be considered with additional training provided where necessary.
Hold a valid driving license.
