Senior Product Designer

Job Description

Dexters is London’s fastest-growing estate agency, and we’re undergoing a true digital transformation—building a bespoke platform around how our consultants actually work.

It’s a complex, human domain with real users and meaningful problems, where today’s product decisions will shape the business for years to come.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join a small, focused team and take ownership of key parts of our platform. You’ll work end-to-end—understanding how consultants operate, shaping digital workflows to replace manual processes, and delivering designs that engineers can build with confidence.

You won’t just receive briefs—you’ll help define them.

Location: Hybrid (Shoreditch office one day a week)

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 D.O.E

Reporting to: Chief Product Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Complex operational workflows across core platform areas: viewings, enquiry handling, onboarding, communications, and more

  • A design system built for a fast-moving internal platform: practical, consistent, and maintainable

  • Discovery and validation with consultants across our London offices, translating real operational pain into clear product thinking

  • AI-assisted features: we are actively building AI into our platform and design thinking is central to making it genuinely usable

  • Raising the bar for how design works with product and engineering across the team

Key skills:

  • Strong product design experience, ideally in B2B, internal tools, or operationally complex environments

  • Able to work from early-stage briefs: comfortable with ambiguity, good at bringing structure to messy problems

  • Strong UX thinking across workflows, hierarchy, edge cases, and multi-role products

  • Practical UI skills with a sharp eye for consistency and reuse

  • Experience conducting your own user research and feeding it directly into design decisions

  • Someone who explains decisions clearly and handles direct feedback well

What we offer:

  • Real influence: you'll work directly with the CPO on a platform that touches every part of the business

  • A greenfield canvas: this platform is being built now, and your decisions will shape it for years

  • A domain worth caring about: London property, real customers, real stakes

  • A small team that moves fast, tests early, and does not design by committee

  • The satisfaction of genuine transformation: replacing fragmented, manual processes with something that actually works
