Nursery Manager / Senior Deputy Nursery Manager
bambooh® Day Nurseries – Hook Norton
Full Time | Monday to Friday
Start date: May 2026
Warm, confident nursery leader wanted for our calm, homely, teaching-led nursery in Hook Norton.
At bambooh®, we are looking for a strong people person to lead our setting — someone who builds excellent relationships with parents, supports their team well, leads from the front, and takes pride in running a safe, organised, high-quality nursery.
This is a hands-on management role. Our managers are not hidden away in an office. They are on the floor, teaching alongside their team, setting the tone, supporting staff in real time, and helping create a calm, happy environment for children and families.
If you are an experienced Nursery Manager, or a strong Senior Deputy ready to step up, this could be the right next move.

What you will be doing
* Leading the day-to-day running of the nursery
* Building strong, professional relationships with parents and families
* Leading and supporting your team with warmth, clarity, and consistency
* Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene, and staffing
* Ensuring strong practice across the EYFS
* Creating a calm, organised, welcoming environment
* Working actively on the floor as part of the team
* Being a visible, reliable leader for both children and adults
What we are looking for
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Leadership or management experience in an early years setting
* Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, staffing ratios, and compliance
* A warm, professional, and confident leadership style
* Someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and genuinely good with people
* Valid Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training
* Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK
