Are you a versatile and reliable multi skilled engineer with a passion for commercial maintenance?
We are a trusted and established commercial maintenance company based in Tilbury, looking for a skilled *Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer* to join our team.
We pride ourselves on offering straightforward, honest, and practical advice and service to our clients, and we need someone with a similar "can-do" attitude to help us deliver excellent customer service.
*The Role*
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be the face of our company, travelling to various locations across various locations around the UK to complete a diverse range of jobs each day. We're looking for an individual with proven experience in most aspects in commercial maintenance including but not limited to:
* General maintenance
* Paving/slabs
* Tarmac/potholes
* Fencing
* Painting and decorating: internal and external
* Plumbing repairs: Clearing blockages, replacing toilets, taps, sinks, urinals, baths, fixing leaks, washers, flushers, pipework
* Minor electrical repairs
* Lock changes
* Carpentry: Door and lock repairs/replacements, door closers, handles etc, general fixtures & fittings, ceiling and carpet tile replacement, boarding up damaged areas (e.g. shopfronts), plaster boarding walls/ceilings, building stud walls, assembling furniture, general woodwork
* Tiling
* Minor metal fabrication and welding.
Your day will be dynamic, and you'll handle a variety of tasks, from fixing a leaky tap to repairing a window frame, ensuring every job is completed to a high standard.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform regular maintenance and repairs.
* Reliable and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities via our app
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
* Polite, approachable, and professional in their manner.
* *Flexible and available for callouts at any time*
* Willing to travel
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
*Essential Requirements:*
* A *clean UK driver's license*.
* You must be *eligible to work in the UK*.
* Recent, hands-on experience in the trades listed above.
