Registered Manager - Children & Young People

£36,000 - £42,000 yearly

Job Description

We are looking for someone with motivation and passion that genuinely wants to make a difference, to join and inspire our small team in achieving the best outcomes possible for the Children and Young People within the home.

The role involves managing one or two two-bed homes in Penrith or Carlisle, leading a small staff team, and supporting the young person in your care.

The Registered Manager holds legal responsibility for the home, which is registered with Ofsted and must maintain compliance and implementation of Quality Standards, Children's Home Regulations, Children’s Act, Health and Safety Requirements, and other regulatory requirements within the home. Working in accordance with the Statement of Purpose and the company ethos.

For this position it is essential that you have a professional qualification relevant to working with young people:

- A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Completion of DipSW, CQSW, Care Management or Level 5 Diploma- leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or commitment to working towards such qualifications, which will be provided by the company once in post.

- Minimum of 2 years experience within a residential setting.

- Minimum of 1 years Supervisory/management experience.

- A full clean Driving License.

- A good understanding of Quality Standards & The Children's Home Regulations
