JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Finance Manager Business Insights is an integral part of the Financial Planning & Analysis function. The role is critical to driving financial insight, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The role will require a hands-on individual, capable of being part of a high performing team and partnering cross-functionally to influence business outcomes.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in the development of finance reporting and processes across the Arabian Industries.

  • Effectively manage the business reporting inputs through to the group reporting outputs.

  • Delivery of Monthly Financial reporting consolidating all inputs in a robust and timely manner including consolidation of business risks & opportunities.

  • Management of the business and decision making.

  • Timely, complete and accurate reporting.

  • To undertake ad-hoc requests as necessary to satisfy both internal and external customers.

  • Support any surge requirements across the KPC’s as required to improve the overall group performance.

  • Business partner to the delivery of IBP consolidating all inputs in a robust and timely manner including consolidation of business risks & opportunities. the implementation of an appropriate set of financial controls.

  • Compliance with the Finance Policy Manual ensuring that control processes are operating effectively, and monthly reviews of the balance sheet occur for all accounts.

  • Drive high-quality collaboration and communication across all KPC’s.

  • Be ready and able to stand in for the Finance Director.

  • Drive common strategy across the portfolio leading on financial analytics of the company for the use by the shareholders.

  • Continue the modernisation of the Finance function including systems across the KPC’s.

  • Develop dashboards and modernised insights to enable business decisions.

  • Assist with the successful adoption of Project Analytics across the portfolio.

  • Providing a professional and timely Financial and Management Reporting service to the business and to our Shareholders, including Monthly Management Reporting (MMR), QBR presentation packs, Shareholder Board packs, Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns.

  • Support Financial aspects of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process.

  • Ensuring that timely advice and guidance is sought in respect of Taxation and Treasury matters, including external funding and M&A activity.

  • Assist with the development of financial processes and systems that will enable efficient and effective processing of financial transactions.

  • Support on cash management activities and provide clear image on KPCs cash position and requirements to achieve business goals.

  • Forecast dividend flow through the KPC’s based on expected profit levels and enact payment of dividends to shareholders

  • Prepare financial pack for each quarterly Board outlining performance and future dividend level for both internal and external shareholder.

Essential

  • The role holder will have a broad financial and non-financial background, developed through experience in several finance roles, relationships with other functions and projects, and Continued Professional Development.

  • This proven business partnering experience will be invaluable to allow the role holder to operate across the Business.

  • An ability to quickly assimilate and drive the purpose of the Company towards its strategic objectives ensuring the working practices and procedures support the outcome.

  • To quickly acquire local knowledge of Saudi Arabia statutory, taxation and regulatory frameworks and how these interact with other jurisdictions is desirable.

  • Proven track record of performance and delivery.

  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of financial controls and corporate governance in a business.

  • Ability to lead, manage and develop operational teams.

  • Able to provide financial advice and to influence business stakeholders.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including business level English language.

  • A self-motivated worker with practical experience of dealing with complex issues in a proactive manner.

  • Demonstrable ability to deliver quality outputs within agreed timescales.

  • An individual with an internal drive for self-development.
