Job Title: Quality Leader

Location: Barrow-in-Furness (contractual site) and regular travel to supplier sites

Salary: Starting from £47,271 (DOE)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading daily Quality Assurance and Governance activities across supplier sites

  • Driving strategic manufacturing enablement initiatives to support business objectives

  • Ownerships of records and project assurance activities for strategic manufacturing programmes

  • Managing non-conformances and producing accurate, timely, quality reports

  • Conducting supplier visits and overseeing sub-tier work activities to ensure compliance and performance

  • Escalating issues and driving corrective actions through to closure at supplier sites

  • Capturing lessons learned and embedding best practices for future manufacturing activities

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Lead Auditing Qualification (e.g. IRCA Lead Auditor) or equivalent experience

  • Understanding of ISO9001 / EN1090 standards

  • Experience of Quality documentation (ITP’s and MRB’s)

  • Valid UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Quality Supplier management experience

The Strategic Manufacturing and Jigs Quality Team:

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing supplier relationships to deliver strategic manufacturing capability and Jigs products in support of critical programmes.
