At Bear and Bunny, our wonderful team is growing and we're currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Deputy Manager to join our team!

This role would suit a highly motivated, organised and creative individual with excellent knowledge of the EYFS.

The role is term time only 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday in our pre school, PLUS an extra 9 hours per week to assist in After School Club, 3 afternoons per week (3pm - 6pm)

We are a family-run pre school in Charlwood, RH6 0BJ. We are social, supportive and rewarding.

As a qualified Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment whilst you observe and assess each child's progress, communicate with parents and ensure the safety and well-being of the children.

We are looking for a candidate who can tick the following boxes

* Must be level 3 or above qualified
* Must have experience working at management level of a busy nursery
* Has an understanding of managing budgets, Early Years funding and fees
* Has extensive knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection and be confident to support, supervise and manage a staff team

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

* Supporting the manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
* To work with the manager to ensure that all policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all staff at all times; including ensuring that the nursery meets all OFSTED legal requirements and compliance at all times as well as all legislation in relation to special educational needs, safeguarding, health and safety is adhered to.
* To develop and promote positive partnerships working with parents/ carers and all other agencies/ professionals that work alongside the setting and families.
* To engage effectively with the senior management team, contribute to accurate reports and records on all aspects of nursery operations. To identify, implement and review improvement plans for continuous improvement of the delivery of services
