Nursery Deputy Manager

Job overview

· To support and actively promote the safety, security and well-being of all children, staff and visitors at all times.

· To work alongside the Nursery Manager & Assistant Manager to lead the nursery to reach and maintain an Outstanding grading with Ofsted.

· To support and actively model Outstanding practice to all staff.

· Carry out cohort action plans with the Room Managers and support the input of data for the Local Authority and share with Nursery Management Team.

· Support staff with their CPD logs including regular monthly audits, further developing their knowledge, skills and understanding of their job role.

· To embrace, understand and promote The Cheshire Day Nursery Group and to understand the role you play as a member of the management team in providing high levels of care and education.

Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:
* Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
* Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
* Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
* Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)
