We’re looking for a Business Development Consultant to work alongside our Field Sales Consultants, helping to unlock growth in high-potential territories. This is a strategic, front-end sales role focused on new business development, territory expansion, and long-term market growth.

The Role
As a Business Development Consultant, you’ll take a broader, strategic view of the territory, focusing on opportunity creation and future growth. Your role will include:
- Identifying high-potential customers and growth areas
- Researching and targeting new business opportunities within independent garages and main dealers
- Engaging and building early-stage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Opening new accounts and creating a strong, sustainable pipeline
- Working closely with Field Sales Consultants to develop and maximise territory potential
- Supporting territory planning and helping shape go-to-market strategies
- Representing Würth UK professionally and confidently when engaging new prospects
- Providing excellent service, including after-sales follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction
This is a role for someone who loves creating momentum, not just maintaining what already exists.
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong commercial mindset
- Experience in business development, territory growth, or new-market expansion
- Confidence opening conversations and engaging new prospects at all levels
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to identify opportunity and convert interest into results
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider sales teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise high-value opportunities
- An interest in the automotive sector or B2B sales (full training provided)
- Competent using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Full, clean UK driving licence
What We Offer
- £24,000 basic salary with minimum guaranteed earnings of £27,300
- OTE of approximately £35,000
- Uncapped commission linked directly to new business development
