Energy Sales Consultant

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience, plus excellent commission 
Location: Exchange Quay, Manchester 
Reports to: Sales Team Manager + Sales Manager
Hours: 37.5hrs per week - 8:30am – 4:30pm (Monday – Friday)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities - Energy Sales Consultant


➢ Working within an outbound sales environment, engaging in proactive prospecting for 
business through outbound B2B sales calls.
➢ Initiating connections with key decision makers to grasp their business energy needs.
➢ Delivering personalised solutions and top-tier services (energy as a service) aimed at 
enhancing customer efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
➢ Securing customer interest and obtaining copies of their bills for further analysis.
➢ Executing consultations, negotiations, and closures of energy contracts.
➢ Cultivating enduring, trust-based relationships with clients to optimise future business 
opportunities.
➢ Attaining daily/weekly/monthly KPI targets in alignment with objectives such as call 
volume, duration, and financial goals.

Skills and Experience - Energy Sales Consultant:

➢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
➢ Competent in achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth (KPI: Revenue)
➢ A results-driven attitude with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
➢ Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
➢ Self-motivation and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
➢ Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales is essential.
