£25,000 - £28,000 yearly

Job Description

Reporting to the Service Coordinator Team Leader the Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the engineers workload is planned and scheduled to give the best service delivery to all customers.  With a positive attitude and can-do attitude, the Service Coordinator will build relationships easily ensuring the best interests of the company are maintained.  

The main responsibilities of the Service Coordinator are set out below but are not exhaustive: 
  •  Be first point of call for incoming service calls ensuring all calls are answered within a timely manner
  •  Regularly updates customers on all ongoing issues
  •  Recognise the urgency of each service request
  • Work with customers to schedule service calls and follow up ensuring efficient planning of engineers and workloads
  • Communicates the correct information to engineers to assist with their daily work
  • Ensure that all service issues are logged and raised with the relevant department
  • Keeps track of all service jobs and ensures Engineers reports are sent in daily and actions and prepares any remedial quotes within the given time frame
  • Be proactive when engineers are in need of support
  • Appropriately balance workloads and time off for each engineer
  • Prepare service billing for time and expenses for all billable service and ensures all Service jobs are logged and billed where appropriate
  • Work with the Regional Service Managers for the planning of service jobs
  • Arrange and plan all transport for machine deliveries, working with the Installation manager to ensure all deliveries are scheduled on time.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills
  •  Ability to understand technical aspects of the role therefore   previous experience working with food manufacturing and/or packaging equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience with various systems used in role: Prelude, Microsoft 365, Access and Asana
