Job title: Lead Avionics Test Engineer
Location: Warton – Full time onsite
Salary: £56,766.00+ DOE
What you’ll be doing:
Lead the System Integration (SI) Test Team, supporting the SI Manager , SI Group Lead and Operations by guiding and developing a small team of Test Engineers, providing clear direction, coaching and performance support
Review, validate and approve System Integration test documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with programme requirements
Track, monitor and report test progress against key milestones, addressing anticipated risks to maintain on-time delivery
Work with the SI Test Group Lead to identify and resolve capability gaps, including developing and supporting business cases for investment where required
Assess and develop team capability, defining the skills and resource requirements needed to support future programmes and strengthen long-term team resilience
