Blue Thunder Construction Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our dedicated team for the day/evening shift. If you have hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers and construction equipment, and take pride in quality work, we are happy to hear from you.
Please note: Certification as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic is not mandatory, but a minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy trucks and trailers is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair issues related to engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspensions, electrical and electronic systems .
Perform routine and advanced preventive maintenance services.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems
Inspect, adjust, or replace components in chassis, frames, cabs, bodies, fuel, and brake systems .
Repair and maintain truck-trailer systems , including structural, brake, and electrical components ....
