Description
Job Title: Higher Apprentice Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
Location: Broad Oak, Portsmouth (Hampshire) The first 3 months of your apprenticeship will be spent undertaking initial engineering, health and safety training in the Skills Development Centre located in Portsmouth Naval Base. On successful completion of this training you will transfer to our manufacturing site, located at Broad Oak in Hilsea.
Salary: Starting from £22,500 with annual progression through the scheme duration
What you’ll be doing:
• Utilising engineering drawings, data and documentation in order to undertake the measuring, diagnosing & verification of technical performance on a wide range of electrical and electronic assemblies and components
• This covers sensors, automatic voltage regulators, wiring harnesses and other bespoke assemblies
