Description Job title: Advanced Apprentice Site & Facilities Mechanical Fitter  Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Cumbria) Salary:  Starting from £14,527 – £23,493 per annum dependent on age, with annual progression through the scheme duration. What you’ll be doing: You will gain experience of working with system fault diagnostics, where you will need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems. Responsible for servicing mechanical equipment across site facilities. You will work to drawings, manufacturer manuals and schedules to comply with legislation with a particular attention to detail. You will learn how to operate plant equipment, working with hydraulics. Some examples of this equipment would be CNC machines, lathes, industrial gas distribution and pneumatic tooling.
