Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – PCB Process
Location: Rochester
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Owning and developing PCB processes including SMT, Wave and Selective Solder, Hand Solder, Press Fit, Cleaning, AOI, X-Ray, and Conformal Coating
Creating and maintaining manufacturing plans, routings, and work instructions
Generating and optimising machine programs such as SMT placement and AOI
Providing day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting on the shop floor
Driving continuous improvement focused on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery
Supporting root cause analysis , corrective actions, and audit readiness
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Strong technical background in Printed Circuit Board manufacture and hands-on understanding of shop-floor challenges
Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-600 and IPC-6010), with the ability to interpret, apply, and enforce...
