Job Title: Advanced Apprentice Assembly Engineering Technician
Location: Hillend (Dunfermline)
Salary: Starting from £18,848 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What you’ll be doing:
Manufacture, test, diagnosis, investigation, repair and modification of complex Radar, Avionics and underwater military products.
Gain a detailed understanding of assembly techniques, electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and microelectronics processing.
Upon successful completion of the Assembly and Test Engineering Apprenticeship the apprentice will be able to perform complex assembly/disassembly or modification tasks to industry standards such as IPC and ANSIJ on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies and systems – encompassing new build, repairs products or prototype products.
