The Forward Maintenance Manager holds the relevant maintenance authority for their areas of responsibility. They are responsible to the Senior Maintenance Manager for all aspects of the products and/or services they deliver and for adherence to the maintenance programme. They are responsible for the leadership, management and co-ordination of all areas and people under their control. The Training Cell Team Leader reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is Responsible for designing and updating the toolsets that both identify training requirements and record completed training. The requirement of this role is to liaise and support maintenance personnel and managers at all levels to navigate and succeed in utilising all available media and training routes to be able to demonstrate compliance and competency. This role will lead the training cell providing confidence to the Part 145 manager that his personnel are competent and current to carry out maintenance tasks. There is also a requirement to assist the training department in the event of holidays carrying out human factors and other regulation courses. The EW Advisor is responsible to the QEAF EW Commander for the provision of advice and guidance on the production and maintenance of Typhoon Mission Data (MD) and general EW matters. They are responsible for the planning and co-ordination aspects of Typhoon EW based activities to support QEAF Typhoon Operations, providing integral day-to-day support. The EW Advisor will provide EW MD lifecycle guidance helping to ensure that Typhoon MD and associated processes are ‘fit for purpose’, articulating risks to the EW Commander to ensure confidence and understanding of Typhoon EW capability.
