Description
Job Title: Advanced Apprentice Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Cowes – Isle of Wight (For the first 12 months you will work within our Skills Development Centre located in Portsmouth Naval Base)
Salary: Starting from £18,848 with annual progression through the scheme duration
What you’ll be doing:
• Overhaul and manufacture components and assemblies found within our complex radar and underwater military products
• Produce or re-furbish the components found in our underwater military products
• Interpret drawings/specifications to plan work, ensuring you have the right tools, equipment and resources to complete the task to the required specification
• Develop a detailed understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques, to include, but not limited to, electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, printed circuit board rework and microelectronics processing
