What you'll be doing;
Key Responsibilities:
Will be driving HGV Vehicles such as 26t or 18t Refuse Collection Vehicles, 7.5t/3.5t Cage or 12t Scarab depending on business needs for the day/week.
Undertake the removal of waste, bulky items and sacks from domestic and commercial premises and the highway. Waste may be loose or in bags, bin, wheeled bins, Paladin and Euro-bin containers and any other container
Ensure that any spillage of waste is cleared at the time of collection to leave the site litter free
When entering premises, comply with any site rules and Health & Safety procedures
Comply with all road traffic legislation in relation to your duties including parking restriction, security and weight of loads. The Company operates a zero tolerance on overweight vehicles.
At the end of the shift, ensure that the tipper is left empty and that the cab is clean and clear of litter, uniform and personal effects.
Report locations of any fly-tipping, graffiti, fly posting damaged/missing litter bins and waste containers.
Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with members of the public, client staff and colleagues
Report in person to the operations office at the end of each shift
