Job Description
Tomberries is seeking an experienced and qualified Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who is confident working across all age groups and committed to providing outstanding care and education for children.
About the Role
As a Qualified Room Leader, you will:
- Lead and support rooms across all age groups when required
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support and mentor team members to maintain high standards throughout the nursery
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed
- Adapt confidently to different rooms and age-specific needs
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment for every child
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner
- Experience working with babies, toddlers, and preschool children
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Flexible, reliable, and passionate about early years education
