Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day management of project elements and sub-projects, typically as part of one large project. Inculuding the resource management for TSS and to engage with all relevant stakeholders to forecast the supply and demand. Create a resource management dashboard to support the CAM owners in their areas. Support the SFA27 team by providing the nessassay data on resources. Have an understanding of the budgets, EAC and ETC. May lead a small team of up to six (typically project officers and senior project officers) Will provide single point responsibility for the management of APM Level 2 projects (multi discipline)
· Co-ordinate the definition of assigned elements of the project so that they meet customer requirements, are commercially viable and can form a basis for developing project plans.
· Develop, under supervision, project management tools and procedures to support improvements to BAE Systems Saudi Arabia’s project management capability.
· Lead review of risk for defined work packages to support effective management and minimisation of risk.
· Participate in developing resource plans to ensure that staff of the required capability can be secured to meet project needs.
· Establish collate and integrate various targets and plans to ensure assigned project elements and sub-projects can be delivered to customer requirements and to meet the needs of the overall project.
· Co-ordinate and manage activities on assigned project elements and sub-projects to ensure delivery to plan, monitor performance against plan and take action to ensure issues and problems are addressed in an effective and timely manner.
· Prepare WBS and OBS and integrate them to ensure effective cost performance measurement.
· Apply scheduling techniques to ensure projects meet key dates and objectives.
· Support the relationships with small/medium-sized suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure all contracts are delivered and that issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
· Lead, develop and motivate assigned staff to ensure they are aware of and capable of meeting their accountabilities.
· Liaise with all functions relevant to the delivery of assigned project elements and sub-projects to help build an integrated project team and to facilitate the achievement of project objectives.

· Any other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate by the business
Job Requirements:
· Ability to co-ordinate the definition of assigned elements of the project so that they meet customer requirements, are commercially viable and can form a basis for developing project plans.
· Understands and accurately applies the Project Management Charter and LCM process.
· Familiar with, and can apply, a range of interpersonal and communication skills both internal and external to the company.
· Significant understanding of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia business, or an ability to develop this quickly.
· Confident and assured in situations involving customers, sub-contractors and partners.
· Staff management experience or capability; able to motivate and develop small teams.
· APMP or equivalent Project Management qualification (Desirable).
· Able to identify, assess, analyse and manage risk.
· Expert in the tools and techniques of project management.
· Able to operate the EVM reporting systems and interpret the management information produced.
· Demonstrated ability to manage project elements within major projects.
· Preferably the applicant will have exposure to Project Management activities within a matrix organisation with an understanding of the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia business, or an ability to develop this quickly, and 4-8 years of working experience.
· The role would typically require a degree in Project Management or related discipline.
