Responsibilities

· Performance indicators – Provide effective Order Book Management activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness, operational/process performance. Understand how individual actions contribute to overall delivery performance.

· Completion of activities – Ensure all Order Book Management activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Compile required reporting, identify any issues and escalate as appropriate.

· Procedure/standards – Comply with Order Book procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify and propose changes, as required.

· Safety Management System – Ensure Human Factors and Error Management philosophies are applied to all Order Book Management activities. Understand the risks associated with Order Book Management and the means by which they are mitigated and managed.

· Management System Assurance – Ensure Order Book Management activities are compliant with the BAEAI Governance and Assurance framework, including supporting process confirmations and independent assurance audits. Support the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews. Support the implementation of identified improvements to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness as directed.

· Statutory / Regulatory & Legislative requirements – Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework. Support the implementation of any Regulatory-driven changes into the Order Book Management activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR, EaPW, ISO, etc.

· Contractual Requirements – Ensure compliance with applicable contractual requirements, e.g. through support to contract reviews and the incorporation of required changes into the Order Book Management processes.

· Specific Areas of Responsibility to Capability:

· Identify any capability or capacity issues and work with the Order Book Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate.

· The effective completion of supply chain transactions from receipt, processing and payment. Ensure the ability to maintain system records to reflect process status and responses.

· Delivery of the customer order validation process, Identify any issues specification, source or process and work with the Order Book Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate.

· Delivery of the priority management process to meet customer/contract critical demand. Ensure any trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate.

· Produce reporting/metrication in order to assess Order Book Management performance. Ensure any trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate.

· The effective completion of customer Requests For Quotation to timely conclusion. Utilising relationships with supporting functions so that competitive provision of prices and lead times are delivered.

· The effective utilisation of Third Party Logistics services within the supply chain. Ensuring that that all export control requirements are met.

· Effective use of relationships throughout the supply chain including supporting functions, suppliers and service providers to ensure that customer order schedule adherence is met. Support order book reviews with internal and external stakeholders, presenting order status, supporting resolutions to order related queries as requested by the customer.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of a recognised qualification to NVQ3/Level 3 Award in relevant discipline.

· Recognised professional supply chain qualification (e.g. CILT or equivalent) desirable.

· Recent experience within a Supply Chain role that supports of Maintenance /after sales market environments.
