About Us:

Safer London is a charity focused on increasing safety and reducing risk for children, young people and families across London.

We support those affected by violence in the community, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation and peer-to-peer harm – helping them navigate complex challenges and move towards safer futures.

We provide long-term, one-to-one, trauma-informed support delivered directly in the community – wherever the young Londoner feels safe and comfortable. This could be a school, park, café, or another safe place. Support typically lasts between 6 months and 2 years, but we stay for as long as needed.
At the heart of our work are our caseworkers – trusted adults who walk alongside young Londoners through some of the most difficult times in their lives. They bring compassion, consistency and a deep commitment to safeguarding and empowering young people to make choices that lead to safer, brighter futures.
We know this work is challenging, so we invest in our people with a 4-day working week at full pay, a remote-first culture with plenty of opportunity to collaborate with peers, smaller caseloads leading to greater impact, reflective practice sessions and an inclusive environment where every voice is valued.  In addition, we offer the following benefits:

•    Enhanced Family Leave – Because caring goes both ways
•    Cycle to Work & Season Ticket Loans – Supporting your journey
•    Pension & Death-in-Service Benefits – Security for you and your loved ones
•    Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential support
•    Opportunities to collaborate with peers – A chance to connect with colleagues across London. Connect, collaborate, and build lasting relationships with colleagues through fun and meaningful team-building events.
•    Expenses Float - We understand the importance of connection — especially when supporting young Londoners. That’s why we offer an expenses float to cover lunch and other essentials when you're out in the field.
•    Learning and Development Opportunities – We’re deeply committed to your growth. From training sessions to conference attendance, we invest in your professional journey every step of the way.

Who we’re looking for:

We welcome people from all walks of life who share our values of courage, collaboration, compassion, and commitment. Whether your background is in frontline services, youth work, health and social care, administration, or project management – your skills could help transform young lives across London.

Join us, and you’ll be part of a passionate team shaping safer futures across London. If you’re driven to make a difference and want to be part of a culture that truly values its people, Safer London is your next step.

Each intervention is tailored to the young Londoner's identity, experiences and needs, and may focus on safety planning, emotional wellbeing, healthy peer relationships and family dynamics.
