Howdens is recruiting a Machine Operator to join our team at Howdens Work Surfaces, our solid surfaces production facility in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, East Yorkshire . This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for grinding and polishing quartz & Dekton worktops to achieve a high-quality finish using portable grinding and polishing tools. As part of the finishing process, you will be working in a wet production environment, where water is used throughout the polishing operation. Pay Rate You'll join Howdens on Band C during your initial training period. Once you've successfully completed your training, you'll progress to Band B , with a corresponding increase in pay: Band C: £35,786.40 per annum + Shift allowance £4,882.80 per annum Band B: £43,696.64 per annum + Shift Allowance £4,882.80 per annum Shift Pattern Sunday to Thursday nights 9:45pm - 6:00am Regular opportunities for overtime are available to increase your earnings What Will You Be...
