Title: Business Development Manager Team Leader (Central)

Reporting to: Regional Sales Director

Function: Sales

Job Purpose

The sales team is responsible for growing revenue and profit on all product and services supplied by Focus Group.

As a Team Leader, you will be involved with the direct management of the members of your team to develop working efficiencies, productivity as well as maximise opportunities and sales. You are the primary point contact for any questions / escalations on a day-to-day basis for your BDM team.

Principal Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for supporting the team with high level technical queries and sales opportunities and coaching them to ensure they are reaching their full potential
  • Ensure the teams diaries are managed correctly and assisting in overall time management
  • Maintain and adapt product knowledge across all areas of sales, training staff on the relevant products
  • Report progress and/or concerns regarding the team to Head of Sales
  • Ensure that behaviours are in line with our values and address any concerns
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1’s with staff alongside Head of Sales where necessary
  • Deliver against your personal targets and the targets of those who you are responsible
