Our much-loved products are manufactured in-house and an exciting opportunity has arisen in our super lovely Manufacturing site as a Compliance Operative within the Blending Team.

The purpose of the Compliance Operative is to ensure the daily compliance of manufacturing operations and adherence to all GMP and quality checks required within the manufacturing areas. The Operations Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the correct activities have taken place and not for conducting the activity. E.g. transferring the correct stock between areas is done by an Operative; ensuring that the stock is checked for conformance is done by the Operations Compliance.

Please note, this opportunity will be working on the following shift pattern:  

Monday to Friday 14.30pm - 11.00pm

As part of this role, you will be working within the Blending Team of the following areas of the business to support and ensure daily compliance is being met. 

Your daily work tasks could include: 

  • Materials Component checks - part numbers, description, batch numbers, expiry dates, weight checks, scale verifications.
  • Equipment checks - visual inspections, GMP checks, verifications, calibrations.
  • In process controls - line clearance, ph testing, viscosity checks, specific gravity, visual checks, odour, temperature, speed.
  • Conformity sign-off - PH, viscosity, specific gravity, visual, odour
  • Administrative support for the Blending Team

 We are looking for the following...

  • At least 1 year experience in working in a manufacturing industry environment
  • At least 1 year experience in quality control/compliance
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
