We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha’s In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer’s lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them. 

We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well.

Working to a rotating shift pattern of 40 hours per week, with some weekend working 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Responsible for adhering to all systems, policies, procedures, processes, documentation, and record keeping requirements in relation to SHEQ, fleet and tools 

  • Responsible for delivering a positive experience for our customers whilst working within their homes, achieving a high-level of first-time fix 

  • Responsible for applying your technical knowledge, skills, and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe, efficient manner 

  • You will strive to improve your first-time fix rate, by maintaining adequate approved van stock levels 

  • To undertake additional duties commensurate with the level of this role as required 

 

We’d love to meet someone with: 

  • A strong, demonstrable commitment to excellence in customer service 

  • Excellent knowledge of plastering and associated tasks within a domestic home and communal areas, with proven experience is diagnosing, repairing, and resolving issues 

  • NVQ level 2 or higher in Plastering/Wet trades, or similar 

  • Full clean driving licence 

  • Good and relevant health and safety knowledge 

  • An organised approach to work, self-motivated, with a positive attitude and able to manage time effectively and efficiently
