Job Summary
NL Health Services offers psychology services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors while in hospital (inpatients), within the community (outpatients), and within long term care (residents) through a variety of programs including Mental Health and Addictions, Child and Women’s Health, Rehabilitation and Continuing Care, Long Term Care, Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Community Living and Supportive services. Psychologists with Eastern Health enjoy autonomous practice, private offices and typically work Monday to Friday 9 to 5. Eastern Health provides our psychologists with the supervision required for licensure and also provides our psychologists with the opportunity to supervise students and residents. Job Qualifications
For all Psychology positions, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology is required, Doctorate preferred.
Registration or provisional registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board is required.
Individuals who are eligible for registration will be considered.
The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) is a division under the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador's Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills.
OIM assists skilled workers, international graduates and entrepreneurs in obtaining permanent residency in Canada via provincial immigration pathways - the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
OIM also assists local employers who are experiencing workforce challenges in recruiting and retaining qualified skilled candidates via the NLPNP and the AIP.
