As an A&E Nurse, no two days are the same. You could be carrying out an initial patient examination to assess the patient’s needs, fixing dressings and administering medication for pain relief, deciding to admit patients into hospital if needed, making detailed notes and keeping in close contact with laboratory staff to pass results onto A&E Doctors.
