Plug Me In, part of the Calisen Group, is at the forefront of renewable energy solutions, providing cutting-edge heat pump installations and electric vehicle (EV) services. Our Heat division is dedicated to supporting the transition to sustainable heating solutions. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and investigate queries from the public, heat pump manufacturers, electricians, and field teams.
- Manage applications and redemptions for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) Grants, liaise with Ofgem, and resolve related queries.
- Register heat pump installations, apply for warranties and insurance guarantees, and prepare customer handover packs.
- Assist the Technical Sales Executive in following up on heat pump inquiries and scheduling home assessment surveys and installations.
- Track installation jobs, update systems promptly, produce management reports, and coordinate with finance to ensure payments and grant redemptions are processed on time.
What We're Looking For:
- A good standard of general education.
- Experience in customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience in the Heat Pump market and infrastructure is desirable, but not essential.
Other Requirements:
- Must pass a basic criminal record check.
- Proven eligibility to work in the UK.
- Able to provide suitable references covering the previous 5 years.
