Pay Rates: £19.10 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00

What you can add:

• Competence and experience in BMS transfer, embedding, microtomy skills, special stains techniques, frozen sections and Immunohistochemistry
• Experience of operating, troubleshooting and maintaining complex laboratory equipment.
• Good understanding of basic physiology, pathology and scientific principles relevant to Histopathology
• Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements within the scope of practice
• Basic IT knowledge

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

· HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist

· BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences (IBMS approved) or approved alternative science degree plus post graduate certificate in Biomedical Science or equivalent

· Minimum 2 years post registration laboratory training

· IBMS Specialist Diploma in Histopathology or equivalent level of knowledge
